Hi Ubeyt, hi Stefano, I am writing to both of you to share an important evolution in our workflow, aimed at making our processes more agile and drastically improving both the student experience and the efficiency of our LMS. The goal is for Stefano to officially take on the role of Technical Product Manager, acting as the primary point of contact and bridge between student needs, the internal team, and technical development. *Objectives and Outcomes: Stefano’s involvement in this evolved capacity aims to:* * Improve the Student Experience: Translating student feedback into immediate product&technical solutions. * Optimize the LMS: Managing platform evolutions with a comprehensive strategic vision. * Speed up Delivery: Reducing wait times for interventions that do not require the standard production cycle. *Current Workload and Transition* It is important to note that Stefano will take on this role on top of his current responsibilities. However, we are already working to reduce his current workload by introducing a new figure for support. Moving forward, we will continue to work with Stefano to ensure he can fully dedicate himself to educational activities and the student experience work related to what we have defined in this email. *Collaboration and Technical Access* To make Stefano truly operational and autonomous, you shoul grant him direct access to the code. This will allow him to intervene promptly on both minor fixes and more structural changes without having to follow the standard production process for every single task. *However, it is essential that this collaboration follows these guidelines:* * Technical Supervision: *Ubeyt will maintain architectural supervision and final coordination*. Stefano will work closely with you to ensure that every intervention is consistent with the existing infrastructure. * Synchronization: Stefano and Ubeyt should agree on a management protocol (e.g., quick reviews or dedicated branches) to ensure speed without sacrificing system stability. *Next Steps: Onboarding in Rome* Since Ubeyt will be here in Rome next week, I would like you to take the opportunity to meet in person. I ask you to schedule at least half a day dedicated exclusively to this: * Sharing data and the current state of the LMS. * Defining Stefano’s technical scope of intervention. * Planning a fast-track onboarding to get him operational on the repositories as soon as possible. This is a working outline; it will be up to the two of you to make it work at its best and improve it as we go. Furthermore, in consideration of the current work organization, Ubeyt will likely need to review his team's workload following your discussions I am confident that this new synergy will allow us to take a major step forward in quality. Cheers, Ivan

Hi all, Thank you for sharing this, Ivan. This is great news. I've had the chance to work alongside Stefano already, and his insights have been genuinely valuable. Formalizing his role as Technical PM makes a lot of sense. @Stefano Zarro <stefano.zarro@epicode.edu.mt> I'm sending you a separate email to set up our meeting and prepare your access to all environments, configurations, and repositories. Looking forward to the Rome session next week. :) On Wed, Apr 1, 2026 at 7:53 PM Ivan Ranza <ivan.ranza@epicode.com> wrote: > Hi Ubeyt, hi Stefano, > I am writing to both of you to share an important evolution in our > workflow, aimed at making our processes more agile and drastically > improving both the student experience and the efficiency of our LMS. > > The goal is for Stefano to officially take on the role of Technical > Product Manager, acting as the primary point of contact and bridge between > student needs, the internal team, and technical development. > > *Objectives and Outcomes: Stefano’s involvement in this evolved capacity > aims to:* > * Improve the Student Experience: Translating student feedback into > immediate product&technical solutions. > * Optimize the LMS: Managing platform evolutions with a comprehensive > strategic vision. > * Speed up Delivery: Reducing wait times for interventions that do not > require the standard production cycle. > > *Current Workload and Transition* > It is important to note that Stefano will take on this role on top of his > current responsibilities.
