Dear EPICODERS, I am incredibly happy to share some fantastic news about the future of our organization and our leadership team. As you all know, *Giulio Spinozzi* has done a phenomenal job leading our Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence bachelor's program. Over the last few months, we carried out a deep and thoughtful analysis to identify the best strategic path forward for Epicode. We evaluated various options and profiles, but throughout this competitive process, Giulio emerged as the absolute best fit. His unique combination of product vision, strategic thinking, and exceptional ability to collaborate with the entire team made him the natural choice. Consequently, Giulio is stepping into an expanded, multi-faceted role that brings his leadership to the next level. Starting *September 1st*, he will officially become our Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this new position, Giulio will cover a broader scope across two key areas: 1. Strategic Coordination (CTO) Giulio will serve as the strategic bridge between the Tech department and the rest of the company, defining our tech implementation and product strategy. 📌 In this setup, *Ubeyt strongly confirms and consolidates his position as Head of Tech*. Since taking over this role, Ubeyt has done a tremendous job, showing incredible leadership and skill while managing transitions during a complicated period of changes. This structure solidifies his key role in our growth. 2. Academic Leadership (Matrix Structure) While the rest of the academic organization remains unchanged, we are introducing a clearer matrix structure to optimize our two main pillars (Masters and Bachelors): - *Master’s Programs:* Giulio will directly take over the academic and educational coordination for all Master's programs. - *Bachelor's Programs:* The leadership will be distributed across key vertical fields: - *Giulio Spinozzi:* Head of Computer Engineering & Artificial Intelligence - *Giuseppe Placanica:* Head of Cyber Security - *Riccardo Tomassetti:* Head of Business Technology & Management *What happens next?* - *From now until the end of September,* Giulio is already taking on his new responsibilities and starting his onboarding. - *By September 1st:* He will be 100% on board in this comprehensive new capacity. This is a milestone moment for Epicode. This strategic, long-term evolution will allow us to align our product, technology, and academics better than ever before.
