Dear everyone,
Over the past month, we have been working hard to improve our LMS platform.
This has been a truly collaborative effort, driven partly by our own
internal needs and partly by the student feedback. Ubeyt and Philip worked
incredibly hard on these updates and accepted all of our requests without
hesitation. 🫂
I have drafted an email for the students (*see below ⬇️*) summarizing all
the new features. The updates include major releases alongside several
improvements focused on reorganizing, better visualization, and enhanced
functionalities.
*Some of these updates directly address the specific requests made by Jesse*,
the student representative, in his detailed email. We had told him that
these changes would be ready *by the end of the academic year, but they are
actually live right now* (calendar filtering, transcript downloads, Google
Calendar synchronization, etc.).
If you want to review the draft below, you can let me know if you have any
feedback or edits. If I don't hear back, I will proceed with sending the
email, but I just wanted to share with you this important update.

At EPICODE Institute of Technology, we are dedicated to continuously

new features within the LMS platform to optimize usability and streamline
your academic activities.
Here is a breakdown of what’s new on the platform.
📢 Major Platform Updates (New LMS Sections)
- *Final Exam Page:* As previously shared, you now have a dedicated
space entirely focused on your final exams. To make this even more
valuable, we have added a *Feedback feature*.
You will now be able to view the detailed evaluation from your lecturer,
giving you deep insights into your performance alongside your final grade.

- *New Announcements Page:* Your new digital notice board. This section
ensures you never miss an important update, serving as a centralized hub
alongside email and Discord.
*How it works:* When you log into the LMS, any new announcement will
appear directly on your dashboard. To clear it, simply click on the
notification and select *"Mark as read."* Once cleared, the notice will
remain permanently archived and accessible under the "Announcements"
section in the left-hand menu.

⚙️ Enhanced Features & Experience Optimizations
We have also reorganized and optimized several existing sections to make
your navigation smoother and more efficient:
- *Google Calendar Sync:* You can now sync the LMS Calendar directly
with your personal Google Calendar, making schedule management easier than
ever.
- *Improved “Ask a Tutor” Visibility:* We have made the “Ask a Tutor”
button much more prominent, ensuring that help and academic support are
always just a click away.
- *Organized Live Recordings with Filters:* Finding past classes is now
faster. Live session recordings can now be filtered, allowing you to access
specific sessions in seconds.
- *PDF Export for Summaries:* You can now export your lesson summaries
as PDF files for seamless sharing, printing, or offline documentation.
- *Enhanced Calendar Filters:* The in-platform Calendar now includes
smart filters, allowing you to view events and deadlines filtered by your
specific courses.
- *Downloadable Lecture Transcripts:* To better support your revision
and improve accessibility, full lecture transcripts are now available for
download.
We are extremely excited for you to explore these new features, and we are
certain they will make your learning journey smoother and more rewarding.

just one add: the email says that is now possible to sync with Google Calendar but without explaining how. I would provide more details.
The rest is fine for me.

Context on calendar : The platform provides a subscription link that
students can add to their Google Calendar to subscribe events of courses
they are enrolled.
